Independent: This trip style is for those who don’t want to follow a fixed itinerary. It gives you the freedom to arrange your holiday how you want. Choose from city breaks to mini adventures, to complete two week touring options, with comfort levels to suit all tastes.
Service level
Comfort: Feed your curiosity for culture and authentic experience while still maintaining the comforts you are used to at home. Relax, your arrival transfer is always included. Expect air conditioned rooms, complete with en suite bathrooms, television, phone services, cafe/bar and internet. 24 hr electricity and hot water are the norm and continental breakfast is always included. For the most part, you will be travelling around in air-conditioned fixed route tourist buses, private touring vehicles or planes.

Important Notes
The classes include all the required equipment: surf board, wetsuit, leash, etc. We start classes on the sand bank and practice the first movements, such as the ideal way to get on your feet, the strokes, etc. Next we practice in the lake, where you gain more confidence to then enter the ocean and put to test everything that you have learned. The instructor will choose the ideal spot... where the waves are breaking, with the help of your instructor you will ride your first wave... paddling with all your strength... the board will move with the energy of the wave. Its time to get on your feet and enjoy!

For beginners we use soft boards, they are surfboards with foam construction and design that is ideal for you to start this sport. They float more easily, are more stable and safer since they are made of foam. For higher levels, we have 8-, 9- and 9.6-feet long boards, either for classes or for rent. We also have full and “shortie” wetsuits for women, men and children.

All instructors are qualified professionals who have been hand-picked and extensively trained. With many years of experience in the water, instructors have considerable knowledge about equipment, security in the water and the best “tides” to surf.

Day 1 Florianopolis - Praia da Rosa (D)
Today you will be picked up from Florianopolis airport and taken to your lodge for the next three nights. Enjoy a Caipirinha, the local drink of Brazil and watch a video on surfing. This will give you some surf theory and etiquette to get you started for your first lesson in the morning.

Praia da Rosa, recently voted the best beach in Brazil is the hippest beach on the Santa Catarina coastline. The beach is stunningly beautiful - a sweeping bay with pumping surf framed by thickly forested hills.

Surfing is one of the best and most thrilling natural experiences you can have! Nothing may be compared to the sensation you have when you jump on a surf board and ride the best wave that is full of energy. If you have never had this experience before, you will be amazed. If you have always wanted to learn how to surf, delay no further!

Day 2 Praia da Rosa (B,L,D)
We start this morning with our first surf lesson at Praia da Rosa. The first lesson is started on the sand with the basics , followed by more advanced theory at the lagoon and at the end we will be in the sea riding real waves. After lunch the afternoon is free for you to do as you please. Lay in the sun, walk around the town or put on a wetsuit, grab a board and keep practicing

Day 3 Praia da Rosa (B.L,D)
Today after breakfast we will have our second surf lesson at Praia da Vila or Praia do Mar Grosso depending on the weather. After lunch we have a chance for dolphin watching and another free afternoon to relax and explore.

Day 4 Praia da Rosa - Florianopolis (B,L)
After breakfast it is our third and final lesson at Praia da Rosa. After lunch we transfer from the resort to Florianopolis airport.
